the end of T.A.G.

Dear awesome readers,

As often happens with awesome ventures, the awesomeness gets a little out of hand and uncontrollable. Such is the case with the avant guardian. So many wonderful people have come together to create a really fantastic community that it’s gotten a little explosive. Now in such circumstances you have the option to simply let the chaos rule or condense the awesomeness into a package that’s always on the brink of explosion. We have chosen the latter.

Beginning this December, the avant guardian will become an archive, a place we can all return to and remember the good times and the great ideas had by all. Until that time we will continue to put up the wonderful and engaging posts that you have all come to expect.

So, you ask, where to in December? Here’s a sneak peak.

The word “allography” comes from two Greek roots, allos meaning “other,” and graph meaning “writing.” We envision the new site as a creative collaborative community, one in which we push the boundaries of how we talk about the relationship between art and culture, and how we think about online publication. We’re fixing to make some noise on these here interwebs, and we’re looking for some help. Follow the links below for more information on how you can contribute to making allography the most interesting darn thing anyone reads today.
